creaking van

When the 99 van starts creaking like a conestoga wagon, where do you look underneath for the spots to lubricate?

Thanks.

Re: creaking van

Lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends are the only grease fittings you'll find. Could be that the upper strut mounts have dried out, but it requires some disassembly to access them in order to lube/replace them. Hope this helps.

Re: creaking van

Could also be the lower control arm bushings or the sway bar bushings. Think about what moves in suspension travel and it could be suspect.
