Discrepancies on stealth316.com
I found a few issues with the production numbers, etc. I'm not sure if anyone cars, but it's been bugging me LOL
They have Orchid Pearl listed as a 95 and 96 color code. Unfortuantely, they listed the wrong color code for Orchid Pearl. It's P82, not A26 as listed on http://www.stealth316.com/2-production.htm Anyway, A26 is Metallic Silver as per paintscratch.com, and that is the correct listing for 95, but the name is wrong. 96 is the correct name, but wrong color listing (P82). They also have incorrect production numbers for the Spyder. They have them listed as 1618 produced. Those were the number of shells sent to ASC to be turned into Spyders. However, only 1034 were actually produced and sold. I'll have to double check the exact breakdown per year and model, but yea... Just thought I'd let you guys know. I'm not sure how to get ahold of Jeff Lucious to correct it on his site.-Em

Re: Discrepancies on stealth316.com
hmm. good catch. I wonder what ASC did with the other ~600 shells. Thats way too many to be r&d.
On a related issue, i noticed that on the database search site i linked on your other thread there is/was a similar issue with the amathyst/orchid and silver cars. I emailed them a few months ago letting them know about the issue...not sure if it was ever corrected. |
