Re: sr20 vs rb20 ?
i think the SR20 is better....i personally dont like the RB20 bcuz it is a 6cyl 2.0L while the SR20 is a 4cyl 2.0L.....the SR20, i think, is a little lighter than the RB20 bcuz it is a 4cyl and there is less rotating mass....also there is more aftermarket support for the SR20 compared to the RB20......this is jus my 2 cents and there r alot more things to consider b4 makeing your final desicion

Re: sr20 vs rb20 ?
RB20 would be a better motor until something breaks. you can generate more power from simpler things with the RB20.
SR20 has many more parts whens something breaks, always a a thing to think about. If you're going to put an RB into a 240sx, go with the RB25 or RB26 as so much better than RB20. |

Re: sr20 vs rb20 ?
how does a 6 cylinder DOHC motor have less parts than a 4 cylinder DOHC motor? and how does having 2 less cylinders make the motor better? these are the questions i have for the above statements that make absolutely no sense.
