A 4WD Geo Metro ! ?
I saw something quite odd several days ago....
A typical Blue Geo Metro - looked like newer than my '93, but not by much had 4WD on the rear side ! Was there ever any 4WD Geo Metros or was that someone's idea of a joke ?! That would involve a transfer case and rear differential...too much for a 3 or 4 banger. It would be cute to get the metal 4WD words off of a Jeep or some other vehicle at Pull & Save and put it on my '93 Metro - lol. Or a big set of "Diesel" or "Turbo Diesel" and put it on my Phoenix's side ! DoctorBill

Re: A 4WD Geo Metro ! ?
the Suzuki Samurai was 4 wheel drive and 3 cylinders and would go anywhere. Jeep owners hate them.

Re: A 4WD Geo Metro ! ?
No Metro 4 wheel drive, guy was just joking, I guess. There were all wheel drive Swifts in Europe, plus Subaru sold a "Justy" for about five years that was actually 100% all wheel drive Swift, they just put their badges on it like Geo did.
Before you get any wild plans, the body is different to include mounting points for the rear differential, you can't retrofit AWD on to a Metro body. Had two gas tanks, a right and left, with an extra fuel pump to move gas from one side to the other.
