5th Gen Camaro Concept Pics

I uploaded these to my server because they disappeared from the original website. The 4th gen camaro was killed because it didn't meet the new NTSB safety standards and couldn't be modified to do so.

Website said something about an independent wishbone suspension and meeting new NTSB regulations.

It also mentioned a 2004/2005 launch date.

Here's some other concepts below designed by owners.

That being said, the Firebird is dead and will stay dead for a very long time. They were thinking of slapping the Firebird name on the Solstice...thank god they didn't.

i like the top one , never liked the hideaway lights a whole lot. Id buy into something like that , you can see the heritage on them , they look like modern 1rst gens , would be a good competitor for the new retro mustang

While I'm still not to big on the old school styling, I would definately roll in that. It's got a hot rod style with some exotic features as well. PLEASE GM MAKE THIS CAR....PLEEAAASSSEEEE!!!!!

the first one

The orange camaro looked pretty cool like a first generation grill and the orange color looked awesome on it.

Since this thread is dug up, I will reply... LancasterWannaBe, they are obviously computer animated pictures... I like the styling a lot. They look a little too much like the first generation Camaros though... And the grill/headlight opennings look too large... I would love to see Chevy make concepts that look similar to these...

I never cared much for hood scoops, but if they produced it, I would buy either one. That definately has my name written all over it.
Cool 69, 90EX. I like the color.

my god thoese concepts are beautiful, i just sold my 68 camaro (in crappy shape) and i plan on buying a bettwe 68 but if chevy puts these concepts to life i would buy one in a heart beat.

I heard they were going to go 1st gen on the new ones but i wasnt so sure. looks like ther're heading that way!
