93civic with mini me swap pleae help????
i have a 1993 civic coupe dx just did the mini me swap and vtec doesnt pop it just smokes... i went to aamco had it tested he said it has to do with the vtec solenoid i don't know what to do i tried wireing it the other way it made my engine light stay on so i put it back it only comes on when i hit vtec please help thank you

If VTEC doesn't engage, something must be wrong with the solenoid, or somewhere along the circuit. If you are mechanicaly and electronicaly inclined, test the circuit and components that control VTEC. You may have to disassemble the head to inspect your vtec valvetrain if necessary...

did you pull the plug in the block? did you wire them to a4 & d6? are you running a p28?

yea i pulled out the oil plug in the block but my buddy also pulled the plug out the head i don't know if thats what it is but everything is wired right and im running the p28
