Porsche Carrera Gemballa Mirage GT

Hello guys from AF

I d'like to share this special build with you guys, this is the Carrera GT with Gemballa transkit made by Geronimo Works, so let's go to the photos. Sorry about the poor quality of the photos it was taken with my cellphone.

Chassis fully carboned, had a little problem with the fiber, but nothing that i can't fix.

Rims that came within the transkit, tires could be lower..

I bought the SMS template for Carrera GT, it worth, but you have to take care cause some parts have not the right size, but anyway, it helps a lot.

Trankit applied to the original body, lot's of work to remove bumpers and side skirts without damages. Transkit fits very well

Front bumper looks very agressive on this car.

Rims test just to check how does it looks like

The color choosen was red and i decide to paint it with a candy red, so then gold base coat.

I also choosen to paint the parts separatelly, it would be hard to paint but it would help to polish, just have to be carefuly let all parts with the same look.

And finally the red devil, again sorry about photos are not so good.

Here with the second hand applied.

and the rims, i choose the gun metal color, can't wait to put in on the right place..

That's enough for today, let's see how things going this week.

See you and thanks for visit.

Cris

Re: Porsche Carrera Gemballa Mirage GT

wow...great kit! Would love to see into what it turns out.

btw, is it just me or the body looks just red? without any gold base? If so, what's the purpose?

Re: Porsche Carrera Gemballa Mirage GT

Thanks for all comments...

Axion.. gold base is necessary when you use candy paint for red you can also use silver and get a different result.

Not too many progress, just clear coated body and parts that complement the body

It's not yet polished, just clear cotead.

I had some hard work to fit the CF to the hood and the front spoiler but, it's there!

Just for you enjoy what is this car follow a link the the Gemballa engine sound

Thanks for visiting and i promise that next progress will be more significative
