Stratos help

Hi all

Having a day off today gave me a chance to try to do a bit of research on the cars in the stash, so I thought I would see what I could dig up on Darniche's '79 Stratos. I can't believe an event like the Monte or a car like the Stratos shows bugger all in a Google search. Whatever I typed in the search bar brought up all the same models of his car (with yellow rims I might add) but no actual event pics of the car. Which leads me to my question: does anyone know if he ran with yellow or red rims on this event? And Corsica for that matter?
Hasegawa would have you choose either/or.

Re: Stratos help

I tried the same search to see if I could find something because I doubt there isn't anything on Forum Auto.

here some pics I found with different key words

Monte Carlo:

Corsica:

And here is the topic on the Stratos you should take a look into:

Hoping this helps

Re: Stratos help

Thanks Phil. I knew you'd be along with something for me - should've just emailed you directly The top pic was probably the most frequent pic to pop up but it is a bit hard to tell what colour the rims are. The front left looks like it could be red, but as he has the snow rims on, I reasoned it could also be the steel rims very dirty.

And thanks for the link too mate. Next day off, I'll have a trawl through the site to see what else I can dig up. Funny fow the French sites have all the pics
