Need info. can anyone help?
I have a 2001 nissan sentra se 2.0 that has a short in the ecm. I haven't been able to locate another one. I've tried most of the major auto part retail stores but they don't carry it. I've also tried auto dismantling yards but they don't seem to have the number I need. The auto dismantling yards always ask me for the number on the ecm, mine says XE. Feels like I'm fresh out of options and don't want to resort to a dealership. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately, with this one you may just have to resort to a dealer only part. I would at least call the dealer and see what the price is, sometimes it isn't as bad as you thought it was going to be.

Yeah, unfortunately I've checked with the dealership and they want $500-$600 for this part. Does anyone know if there is a high performance or aftermarket option for this?

Re: Need info. can anyone help?
negative. people have resorted to going to the 96-99 200sx/sentra's with the 2.0 and swapping that ecu over and rewiring everything since there is no performance ecu out there. technosquare exists, but they can only raise the rev limiter, speed limiter for the most part.
