Audi R8

Well what can i say ,

This is the worst kit i have built in a long time ,
bad parts fit ,shocking wheels ,recycled rubber tyres with 1950s tread .The list goes on .
I used the kit brake discs but drilled the middle out to allow the new wheels to pass through and used some aoshima replacments .
I was almost happy with the finished item .
dont be shy let me know what you think .
Thanks for looking

Re: Audi R8

Beautiful result!
You managed to build a very nice and clean model out of what you describe as a not so good kit.

Totally agree. That's a very nice colour you've chosen too. I've got this semi-started...anything in particular to look out for when building it?

Re: Audi R8

Nice, clean job, especially because it is a pretty sloppy kit to begin with.

Re: Audi R8

Very nice build of a not-perfect kit, I feel for you: I built 2 of them. Nice color, I'm glad you chose the silver sideblades instead of the CF ones, and good rims choice too. Good exhaust tips also, congrats!

Re: Audi R8

Great build! I love that BMF sideblades. Did you try to play around with any other color other than chrome for the wheels?

Re: Audi R8

Bad kit, good result!
I like the color, but the rimms are too shiny for my taste...

Re: Audi R8

I like it, great color choice. Did you have to mess with the suspension at all fitting the rims?

PS. Maybe adding some cf in the rear would make it look topnotch.

Re: Audi R8

Very good work, the color is great (what kind of paint did you use?) and the wheels look great, but I think the black frames in the side windows are not accurate to the real car. It's not the first time I hear this kit is very bad.

Saludos!!!
