won't clear codes
I have codes p0700 and p1100 on a 95 blazer OBDII system. And the scanner I have won't clear the codes and I have disconnected battery and taken ecm fuses out and the codes still come up on the scanner as pending? (whatever that means) I haven't started the vehicle so there shouldn't be any codes after the battery has been disconnected? True?
Could my ECM be bad? |

Just comes right back at you. Repair for code and see if it clears. Also a battery disconnect dos not always clear codes on OBD11.

Re: won't clear codes
I've had several people tell me that the autoxray scanner always gives code p1100, that basically this is standard for this model due to updates, do you know anything about this? And if this is true, what can cause code P0700 without even driving the truck?

Try another scanner and see what it does. If a code is a hard code/present problem at ther time it may clear but comes right back when key is on.
