Turn signal / passlock question

2001, 2.4,160000 miles. I am going to clean the MFS. It says to disconnect the negative cable to disarm the airbag.
Will this cause a problem with the passlock system?

Disconnecting the batt will not affect the passlock system. But if the radio's theftlock is active, the radio will be in a lock state and U will need the code that was previously used to unlock it. If U dont know the code, there are other ways to unlock the radio though.

Thanks for the help. I completed the mfs job. What are the other way of unlocking the radio just in case i need to unlock it sometime.
