was running died while driving then turned over really slow put jumper cables on and solinoid makes loud clicking noise and nothing else tried jumping solinoid with screwdriver and only get a really small spark starter wont make any noise at all. I cant figure out what caused it to die let alone get it started again. its got a 5.0L 302 fuel inj in it not sure what to look at next on it i am new to fords all together first time ford owner please help
Found the alternator bearing was bad it locked up replaced the alternator today and it still just clicks at the solinoid so i am replacing the soninoid next hopefully that is it finally this is driving me nuts right now

Re: 94 ford bronco wont start
Are you sure your alternator was charging when it quit? I suspect you have a low battery or possibly bad battery connections. As far as when you tried to boost it, you have to have a good heavy set of booster cables or let it set a bit with the booster cables connected before starting the dead vehicle. That would be my guess from this vantage point.

Re: 94 ford bronco wont start
After charging the battery if it won't start check the fuseable links by the starter. Use a 12 volt test light and check for power to the solenoid. Then have some body else try to crank make sure you have power to both sides.
