How to Tighten Tensioner on Serpentine Belt - 05 G6
I have a 2005 G6 with 77k miles and am hearing noises around the serpentine belt area. It is a tapping noise kind of sounds like when I was young we'd clip playing cards to our bike spokes with clothes pins. That is kinda what it sounds like. It increases with acceleration. It has been suggested I tighten the tensioner on the serpentine belt. I realize it's a longshot - but I gotta try.
One problemo - can't find the tensioner - Can anybody tell me know how to tighten the tensioner on the serpentine belt.
