How hard is it to put the factory flares on a burb that didn't come with them?

I have actually removed my factory flares on my 2000 sil and reinstalled when I did the rust proofing ..it is not a hard job/the factory flares are better stonger and after all these years still look good..

A couple years back I upgraded to a larger factory flare from OEM to a set of Xenon. What a pain in the @ss it was difficult to get to the backside where the mounting nuts are you practically have to become a contortionist. I needed to remove the rear A?C unit on the rear pass side to gain access to the factory nuts.

However installing the aftermarket ones were easy with 3M Double sided tape & a few screw to keep them in place from shifting.

Honestly I would recommend that you go with aftermarket, save your knuckles.

my fender flares where held in place with plastic fasteners and double sided tape....no metal fasteners...

Lucky, my assumption would be that those were not OEM which were a pain to remove on a suburban with rear air conditioning.
