1999 Regal questions
1999 Regal GS 215,000km. 3.8L
1. Can someone point me in the direction as to where I can purchase a replacement front Sway bar, or is this a dealer item only? I don't want used, as it may break down the road, like mine currently is. I've googled, but didn't' have much luck. 2. Switch for the drivers side window was intermittently working, but has now died. Is it easy to get the switch assy off? |

Re: 1999 Regal questions
Since you are in Canada probably GM dealer only. Plenty of OE and aftermarket stabilizer bars available via U.S. suppliers but I am not sure they ship to Canada.
To remove the power window switch assembly just carefully pry at bezel and pull it up. Doesn't require removing the door panel.

Re: 1999 Regal questions
Got the front sway bar changed. Found one aftermarket. Not a hollow tube like the factory one. factory one would have been over $300 CDN, but the replacement one was $160, and it came with the links and bushings. I'm glad my buddy with the hoist helped me out. Would have been a fun job doing on the floor with jacks, etc. It's nice not to hear things banging around now when I drive. Also changed my outer tie rod while we were at it. Now I'm good to go for a while now. (I hope)
