94 caprice problems help!!!!

I HAVE A 94 CAPRICE I BOUGHT FOR 200 IT WAS SITTING SINCE 05 I JUST GOT IT A MONTH AGO IT CRANKS UP FINE AND IDLES PERFECT I CAN ACCELERATE IN DRIVE AND NEUTRAL BUT IF I PRESS A LIL ON THE GAS I SLOWS DOWN INSTEAD OF ACCELERATING BUT WEN I FLOOR IT IT WILL ACCELERATE THEN WHEN I THROW IT INTO GEAR I FEEL IT GO INTO GEAR FINE BUT IT WONT MOVE IT WONT ACCELERATE I CAN ROLL BACK AND THEN FORWARD COASTING BUT IT WONT ACCELERATE IN GEAR I HAVE REPLACE TSP(THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR) MAP SENSOR FUEL FILTER(WHICH THE IDIOT I LET PUT THE FUEL FILTER PUT IT ON BACKWARD SO I CHANGED IT THE NEXT DAY IF THAT HAS ANY AFFECT) AND ONE CATALYTIC CONVERTER IS CUT BUT ITS NOT OFF THE CAR IT IS STILL RITE ON THE OTHER PIPE JUST CUT MAYBE A INCH AWAY FROM DA OTHER PIPE BUT STILL IN TACT AND IM PUTTING THAT BACK ON TOMORROW CHANGED WIRES AND IT WAS ARCIN IN ONE SPOT AND CHANGED THE WIRE AND STILL IS ARCIN IN THE SAME SPOT AND THE IGNITION COIL IS ARCIN TO ITS A 94 CAPRICE 4.3MOTOR CUZ THE 8 LETTER IN THE VIN IS A W AND THATS BOUT ITHELP PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you don't appear to have knowledge about vehicle repair/s..........

I would suggest you get the repair manual for this vehicle and with some other training material get a better understanding of this...

the one thing that is possible would be the EGR as this messes up when in gear moving....with your desciption this is just a guess...

well how do you explain the fuel filter in backwards ? you had a 50% chance on getting that correct..

so what do you know about EGR valves...how is this controlled ?

I would replace all wires and coil that are arcing. If this doesn't solve the problem unbolt both converters between the motor and converter and move appx. 1/2 inch apart. If this solves the problem buy new converters.
Advance Auto and Auto Zone will scan your engine for codes free.
Feel free to post the codes for help.

I was at work and let sumbody put it on i checked it wen i got off and it was backwards and yes i know the egr gets stuck on sum cars and its vaccum controel by the egr solenoid

One converter is hollowed out the other is cut but still in tact and i replaced the wire were it was arcing and it is still arcing in the same spot i am going to get an ignition coil tomorrow and im goin to change the transmission filter

You might want to check the insulation resistance between the terminals of the Opti distributor cap. A test of the fuel pressure might also be helpful.
