97 wrangler windshield wiper motor
Has anyone changed out one of these , if so how hard was it , any advice?

1. there are five or six screws to take off the vent cowling. 2. remove the wiper arms off the posts. 3. remove the cowling. (be careful of the weather strip) 4. remove the three or four bolts holding the wiper motor assly(motor and arm) 5. pull out the wiper assly 6. three bolts/screws hold the motor to the arm assly. (mark the position of the wiper arm in relation to the motor post.) 7. installation is the revers of removal> this was so easy to do. the hardest part i had was removing the rubber covering off the old motor to put on the new one. if you have any troubles, email me at [email protected] |
