A sports forum in OT?

Im sure there are many members who enjoy the wide world of sports, why not offer a forum that allows them to discuss whichever sport strikes their fancy in the Off-Topic area,I could be a mod if need be....

i like this kid's idea. i would LIKE to be a moderater. it probably wont happen, but i would like to see a sports topic come to AF.

I think its a cool idea, but do you think it would have enough support to co-exist in it's own forum? I mean it wouldnt be all that usefull to have a ghost forum......anyways as i said i think its a good idea.....btw i could be a mod j/k

lol. but what about motorsports? true that does fall under racing but if we include it, we should get more support

We have a motorsports forum- It is listed as "Racing" and I don't really think a sports forum is needed in OT- sports is rarely bought up there

true. but what if they never bring it up because they dont want to be the first or maybe their team hasnt done anything special? we could have polls and things saying who wins the superbowl, world series, NBA champoinship game, etc. we have people that think its a good idea. besides, sports is a thing that is a part of every home. i think it should be a part here too seeing as how this is like a home because people here are like familly to some of us. we just want Igor to consider this, and the 2-3 people that voulenteer to be moderators.

soccer is my favorite game. I can play it for many hours and found it very relaxing for the mind. nowadays i dont get time for it just because of work. i am looking at least for Sundays to play.
