2001 300m possible blown engine

First off I would like to say I have not yet had a mechanic look at my car. My father and step father are both certified, theres too much snow on the ground and they have yet to look at it.

This is what happend, I don't know much about cars so bare with me.

While driving on a highway when i was pressing the gas it kept getting stuck like the transmission wouldn't turn over gears... after a few minutes when i was getting off at my exit, my oil pressure light turned on. Then a weird somewhat like a knocking noise began under the hood. I started to turn into the nearest plaza and while turning my car stalled. I rolled into the parking lot, put it in park and tried to start it every time it would just die out. I finally got it to start but that was with having me give it a little gas. Before this I had almost no problems with the car besides the alternator which i had replaced, and tires and breaks.
My car is at roughly 92,000 miles

anyone have any ideas...

Without looking at it we have thought of maybe that I spun a bearing, or blew a rod or possibly the oil pump was faulty which cause a whole mess of problems.
