Fuel Mileage on 96 Continental

Hi gang.. New here. I just took a 1000 mile trip in the 96 Lincoln Continental. Fuel mileage was anywhere from 19.8 to 22.5 traveling at 80 mph. Is this about right or should it be better?? Thanks...

If you drove 60-70mph,you could go further per gallon!

I know, but the ride from Reno Nevada to Salt Lake city is a very long and lonely road...
