BBS 20 Inch rims...

This may have posted before. I did a quick search and didn't find it. I was searching MediaMix Hobby site for what's new and came across 20" BBS rims from Hobby design. They look close to the Ferrari rims. I put in an order and will report back when I get them

Similar in design, but not the same unfortunately.

Here's a 599 BBS real wheel for comparison

Might be able to adapt their wheel to this. Have to wait and see.

They do look very similar. I thought Hobby Design had answered my prayers for a minute there...... Why won't someone make a 20" BBS rim for my Ferrari 599...??? It's crying out for one, the standard wheels look so dull in comparison. I'm sure it would be a good seller.

Personally, I don't like the standard nor the BBS (although it is better). I've some nice Aoshima 20" that I think would work better and will likely use them.

I still ordered a set and will take 10 megapixel closeups to see what, if anything, can be done.

Re: BBS 20 Inch rims...

Nice to see the mounting options for the different kit manufacturers. I picked up a couple sets of HD030008 but was pretty dissapointed with the quality of the tires (didn't respond well to sanding, and werent staggered in size like the wheels were). Hopefully they used a different compound for these tires especially for the price. Too bad its the wrong diameter for the 599 as well...
