95 Club Wagon Stalls

My '95 Club Wagon stalls when shifting to reverse. I'm told this is because the idle air control valve is sticking. 170,000 miles on the engine.
Any have the answer to this problem?

Does it stall when putting it in drive or only reverse. Is this the only time it stalls or do you have other problems. I would try cleaning the other item before buying a new one.

unplug your iac and see if it does any diffirence and if runs the same i would say it's the iac valve.
