Recommendations for lowering
Hey guys, I'm about to throw some 17"s on my 04 Chevy Cavalier and I was hoping to lower the back by 3" and the front by 2.5". What parts do you recommend? If it's too much I'll settle with 2.5 in back and 2.0 in front.

How much are you able to spend?

Re: Recommendations for lowering
Well your looking for an extreme drop if you want to go that low meaning there are only a few struts out there which can handle such an aggressive drop.
I would recommend Koni Yellow or Tokico D-spec struts that would be in your price range. As far as getting that low, Eibach sportlines are 1.7 front and 2.3 rear. Paired with one of the above struts, these are the most common combos out there that I have seen J-tuners using to slam their cars without going to coil-overs. If you really want to get lower, Ground Control coil overs are one of the best out there still in your price range. They only come as the coil-over and not a whole system. There are cheaper other alternative like the Eibach Pro-kit and KYB AGX combo, but thats only a 1.4 all around drop. Anything else is hit or miss unless you start spending over the $1,000 range. I'm running the TEIN SS coil-overs myself. They carry a tag of $1,500 and I have the EDFC on top of that rounding off to nearly $2k.

Re: Recommendations for lowering
You're going to be running them Cody. Unless the cav is building itself.
I say suck it up, save up, and bag it on 18"s. But im alittle biased.
