Help.!!
ok, i have a 2002 chevy cavalier and not to long ago while driving the RPM gage started to jump up and down, and make a ticking sound, but nothing in the engine seemed to change, no check engine lights came on,but i took it to the local store to have the system checked by that computer thing and they told me it was the EGR valve, so i went home and looked up an EGR valve and the car dose not have the problems that it should have for it to be the EGR valve to be bad.what could this be??

Re: Help.!!
Here's a fun tid bit....
You don't have an EGR Valve in no matter what motor is in that 2002. Don't ever listen to people in that store again.

You could clean the battery terminals... they can cause some weird problems sometimes.
