I have a 98 3.2 4x4 with 205,000 miles.I drove it about a hundred miles yesterday on interstate with no problems until i got off the exit. And then it just died.It started right up and I started down the road and I noticed that it did not seem to have much power so I pulled over and when I let off the gas it died again. It seems to die when whenever I let off the gas but idles fine. It's just when I rev it up and let off gas.The only thing I did to it before my trip was add oil in engine and I over filled it a little.Does any one have an Idea of what it might be.The only thing that I have to fix since I have had my Rodeo is replace EGR valve about 2 months ago.

Re: 98 3.2 4x4 engine stalls
it sounds like it could be a leaking intake manifold gasket, or the throttle body is carboned up and the butterfly is sticking.
