04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
I need to know where the actuator is for AC Max in/outside air door. I'm not sure how to get to it. I would appreciate any help I can get, thanks.

Re: 04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
It's on top of HVAC module, under dash behind glove box- may be tough to get to.. is it stuck? whyy do you need to get to it?

Re: 04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
When it gets to the end of opening the recirculation door it keeps running and clicking very annoying. Can I get to it by removing the dash?

Re: 04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
Yes- it is evidently stripped out-- The service manual says it is a dash pull- I guess if it were mine, I'd be sure it was in outside air and then either unplug it, or cut the wires- until I had reason to pull out the dash..and the HVAC module.
If it is stuck in recirc- you run the chance of severe window fogging when temps and humidity are just right...seen it happen where no amount of heat to the windshield will defog the glass when recirc door is stuck on recirc air....

Re: 04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
Does the HVAC module need to come out to replace the recirculation door actuator?

Re: 04 Cav. AC Max in/outside air door actuator
Yes- First steps are to evac the a/c refrigerant- unhook all lines to HVac module, and do the dash pull.....then pul the module out just to get at the actuator...
