77 El Camino - Interchangebale front ends?
Im not really a fan of the 77 stock front end on the El Camino, but I have been offered a pretty good deal on one. So my question is what years can I use to do a relatively easy fron clip exchange to change the look?

paws , I'm not really that knowledgeable about 1977 El Camino's but I would suggest going to www.honestcharleys.com , they carry many products for Chevelles of that era . I know they carry a Monte Carlo SS type of front end piece that MAY fit your Camino .I'm not certain of the fit but you should check it out for yourself ! Let us know what you find , Good luck !

Re: 77 El Camino - Interchangebale front ends?
If you can get your hands on a Hollander Interchange manual, it should list which years/models will work. Many salvage yards use these to help find and inventory their parts. IIRC model years 1973 to 1977 may work for the El Camino, and I think they used similar parts to the Malibu, so that front end may also work. Many of the GM A body platform cars were downsized in 1978, so I don't believe they will work.
