2001 LeSabre steering wheel "foam cover"
Lesabre has 135K miles on it, so my steering wheel "foam cover" (don't know what else to call it) starts to fall apart. Bought a leather cover, but it looks kinda ugly. Is there anything else I can do aside from the usual steering wheel covers?

Not trying to be funny, and I know this is no help, but I saw a car just recently that had the steering wheel duct taped. Quite amusing. That stuff can be used for anything.

My interior is gray, so it might do the trick

You could always try to get one from a boneyard and replace it your self. Autozone or others stores will "rent" you the tools. May be a better color match than duct tape.
