Fujimi Ferrari 248

Hobby Search has box contents and instruction sheet scans from the recently released Ferrari 248 F1. There are test shots of all the sprues on F1M.com. One thing I can't figure out is how to fill the monococque seam and still display the engine detail. Looks like this may be better off curbside, but none the less this is the 'newest' 1/20 plastic F1 since the Williams FW24.

It won't be that difficult, but plenty of puttying, gluing and cutting will have to be done. At least that is what I plan to do. I'm gonna try to make the body open up as in the case of the F 2000.

Yes, PE parts and Cartograf decals are announced for next month.

They will certainly release at least one more version (if not more). They did at least 2 version of every F1 kit they released until now.
Not sure if it will be the Chinese version but I hope so, for it was Schumacher's last victory in F1 and it was a wet race so wet tires will be a must.

Re: Fujimi Ferrari 248

Not sure about the differences. The new release is supposed to be the car they presented at the official launch in 2006, so probably different wings and winglets.
I hope for rain tires too, but that's just me hoping.

We will know in a month's time.
