ok my wife has a 99 grand am gt with the 3.4. ok here is the problem... when you start it the daytime running lights flash about six or seven times then they turn off and after they turn off the service vehicle soon light comes on. her daytime lights no longer work and when the lights are on at night there is no difference between the high beems and the low beams.. not sure what this could be... thanks

Re: service vehicle soon light
I would get the car scanned and see what DTC has been set. You can get the car scanned at any Autozone or Advanced auto parts stores. Then post what DTC is being set.

Re: service vehicle soon light
The BCM has a code set relating to this- it would be beneficial to have it read- you can also check the Daytime Running Light relay in the underhood fuse center...

Re: service vehicle soon light
Does sound like a bad relay, could also be the ALC relay.
