AC DELCO parts on amazon.com???

anyone ever buy ac delco parts from amazon? i want to replace all the O2 sensors on my 2000 tahoe. i called a couple local chevy dealers to price the parts and install the myself. they both gave prices of just over $500 for the 4 sensors. i have to verify the part numbers to make sure they are the correct oes, but just now, while at work i checked amazon and for the 4 ac delco sensors it totalled about $260 with free shipping and no sales tax.

http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-AFS105...5037892&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-AFS106...5037932&sr=1-1

they are new, genuine ac delco parts from amazon, not some shady online dealer. so if/when i can confirm the correct part numbers, i will be ordering them from amazon

What is the mileage?
What engine?

Sometimes you can find a local dealer GM parts dealer that will give you a good discount and run your vin no for the correct parts.

Re: AC DELCO parts on amazon.com???

on my silverado they are all 4 the same sensor...the up stream sensors need replacing at 100,000mi...this is the life of the sensor...

the downstream sensors monitor the cat performance...so if these fail its not gonna damage the cat converter...

if the vehicle is operating properly if would be good to save the old sensors..then if something should indicate a O2 problem you can use the old for test...

dealer prices are about 120.00 ea....these can be had at on line part suppliers the exact same sensor for about 70.oo .
140.oo is better than 500.oo .

i've got a 2000 nbs with 5.3l with 190,000+ miles on the original 02 sensors. from what i read they are well past their time.

i gave the local dealers my VIN and they gave me the price for all 4 sensors, parts only, for just over $500 + tax.

Re: AC DELCO parts on amazon.com???

They are smart enough not to give you the part no so you can not use it to by online.
But not smart enough to give you a discount to keep you from buying on line.
They do not want your business real bad.
Check around for a dealer that does.

Some dealer want you business and will give you a discount and some company's get a discount from dealers.

Also parts places that have Ac-delco parts give you a good price.

Pays to check around.

Also as said replace just the front two if you want to save some money.

Good Luck
