MPFI is multi port fuel injection...it will have 4 fuel injectors not the throttle body on top like in the pic.....

it is a mpfi system, but its a dx system.
thats how it is on my friend 96 hatch. his intake goes down like that. has that dpfi look but its a mpfi system. thats from a newer car, well newer than our 4th gens, so it will either be a obd1 or obd2 intake mani |

what's kool about the intake manifold on the top pic which is from the 96+ DX motors, is that you can make a RAM AIR system out of that sucker, think about it, put a air scoop in the middle of your hood and direct all that air straight into the TB. I think that would be pretty creative.

Hey i have 2 FULL sets of MPFI manafolds (ecu / distro /wiring /resistor box ect...) so make me an offer

it will fit your lx engine as long as it is a d-series, and as long as it was made after 87 so 88- present d-series, but you have a newer engine, so its no worry
