New to forums. Hope I posted in the correct place!!
Vehicle is a 1994 4 cylinder 2.3 L Pontiac Grand Am. If antifreeze pours out of the drain hose at the bottom of the firewall is that most likely a sign of a bad heater core? Also, must the heater core be replaced from the dashboard inside or can it be replaced through the firewall? Anyone know of a site to find instructions to use? I looked thru old posts but most were from 2007. Thanks

Re: 94 GA heater core?
Welcome. To change the heater core you will have to remove some of the lower dash. Radio has to come out, and there are 8 (I believe) screws that hold the heater assembly together. Heater hoses are disconnected from the outside. I did mine and wasn't too happy about doing it, but I'm not exactly a small person either.
