4l60e problems

The trans in my 1997 is acting up. At first I suspected the 3-4 clutch pack. But after analyzing the situation I am confused on the true problem. If you take off from a dead stop and floor it the trans shifts perfectly all the way to 90 mph. But if you take off just normal driving and throttle when you reach about 30mph or so the trans slips and slips like its in neutral you can manual shift it back to 1 or 2 and its fine but as soon as its back in D it still wants to slip no matter if you floor it or not. Would the tps do this? I wouldnt think the bands are junk or they would slip when you floor it from a dead stop.

at 30mph slips,,, rpm increase ,,,3/4 gear slip...

tps all speeds usually when pedal depressed in a certain amount...with a meter this can be measured if its droping out resistance/voltage..

I am not sure I understand your response.

So do you think the tps would do this? As I stated from a stop if you floor the pedal it will shift perfect.
