Fun little browser based game

Starpirates.net is a browser based online game I've been playing for the past several months.

I've had a great amount of fun and now we're trying to expand even more

it's not a game for everyone but you can play anyway you want to- log on during your coffeebreak at work or leave it running in the background all day long. You can be a power player and join a war fleet or you can be a prospector and fight and fly alone. It's absolutely free to play but if you wish, you can purchase items to give you an edge.

The game is fun but the jewel is the community...there are plenty of characters in there and you can waste hours in the shoutbox alone.
