I have a 2009 G6...only a couple months old.
Last week the anti-theft alarm (very loud honking, lights flashing) started going off by itself at random times. Last night, it proceeded to go off every 5 minutes! I have to hit the unlock button on my remote. The only it doesn't continue to go off is if I keep the doors unlocked. Any thoughts? Are there any recalls with the alarm system? Help! My neighbors hate me.

Re: 2009 G6 - Problem with alarm. HELP!
So why isn't your car at the dealer for warranty? Park it out by the salesmen and let them deal with it....

Re: 2009 G6 - Problem with alarm. HELP!
I have to agree why isn't the car at the dealer?
80% of the time it's the sensor for hood latch that causes the "alarm" check and make sure your hood is closed tightly, see if that fixes it. Also check to see if your dome light is coming on before the "alarm" goes off, maybe their is a faulty door plunger.

Re: 2009 G6 - Problem with alarm. HELP!
I'm not being a smart a** here, but to keep your neighbors from burning your house down disconnect your battery before you go to bed. Takes one minute and that would be the "good neighbor" thing to do. I'd park it at the dealer and tell them to give me a loaner until they fix mine.
