Steering column question

Regardless of the fact that it seems as though I will never get a simple question answered here (but PLENTY of views nevertheless), I'll ask one more in earnest:

I have a 1967 Chevelle steering wheel. The center horn cap has no way of being secured. There are the bolt holes to mount the wheel to the steering column, but what holds the horn cap in place? The cap is hollow with only a rubber gasket. I should say that this wheel also has horn buttons on the spokes.

Thanks again in advance.

Re: Steering column question

Are you trying to keep the car stock? If not go with a grant steering wheel, its easy to install and looks damn good!

Re: Steering column question

The car is staying stock. In fact, I had the original steering wheel restored and painted. Those aftermarket steering wheels are really ugly in my opinion.
