Thin decal stripes

Does enyone know if it is possible to find some thin black or greyish decal stripes? Mustn't be water slides. They have to be atleast 60 mm long and 1, not more than 2, mm wide.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! I don't know if that's what you are searching for but take a look here, maybe it helps : http://www.microscale.com/Merchant2/...us_Stack_1=152

Darn, I am SURE I have seen those on either Hiroboy, MediaMix or HLJ.
Sorry I can't be more specific but I HAVE seen something like that.

Re: Thin decal stripes

Hey Joel,

why not spraying these parts? You could use some very thin masking tape after spraying the right colour first.

What is the purpose for them?

Re: Thin decal stripes

I'm planning for a chopper build and thinking a few stripes along the fenders and tank. As we're talking three separate parts a masking job will probably mean different widths.

Re: Thin decal stripes

Yes that does exist: Carpena = reference 100.06 (stripes from 0.5 mm to 5 mm)
now you only have to take a look at your favorites dealers.
(MMH seems not to have it anymore)

Re: Thin decal stripes

Looks perfect, but as you say seems a bit tricky to come by. Anyone know of a store where you can get this within a reasonable charge or have some other ideas?

A Google search showed lots of stores but 8-9 usd shipping charge for a thin decal sheet seems a bit rough...

Re: Thin decal stripes

Dinacar have them in stock in their Ebay store:

http://cgi.ebay.fr/LOT-de-2-DECALS-F...lenotsupported

you can contact them directly to try to buy out of Ebay saying they've been recommended by one of their french customer "Philippe" from "Alsace", they might give you a better price (can't swear they will because 12 euros for two sheets seems to me a reasonable price and can't remember having had myself a better price to them).
they are very serious and friendly, offering a great service, especially if you let them know they've been recommended by someone purchasing to them and knowing them (I sometimes meet them during cars or modeling events).

if you need my assistance to contact them feel free to ask

Re: Thin decal stripes

As has been mentioned above, I also have used HO scale waterslide stripes from Microscale for this purpose.

I know that they have black, white, yellow, a dark shade of red and a dark blue and am sure there are others - might be worth checking out? Mine cost me about US $5 /per sheet.

Re: Thin decal stripes

Must NOT be waterslides? So you want stickers?
