96 4 cylinder studder

i just bought a 96 probe with the 2.0 4 cylinder and a automatic trany. It does not have the check engine light on ,and seems to run real good. It does have a studder when you first hit the gas. everytime you hit the gas from a take off, or let the engine get down to idle. It will do it in neutral or drive. If any one has any ideas, it would be very helpful to me. Thanks
