Fujimi F40 LM

I recently purchased this kit. Does anyone know how accurate or inaccurate this kit is? What kind of obvious flaws does this kit have? I know its curbside. I recently started building the facade motor. Every picture I've searched on this car shows a scoop just above the emblem on the hood. The model kit does not have this. Is this an inaccuracy or were there f40 LMs without this feature?

Any advice or other info would be much appreciated.

None of the real F40 LMs were alike. There are subtle differences here and there depending on the car, and some are completely different (for example, Michelotto built cars, card built for Italian Championship, and then LM cars are all completely different), so to answer whether the kit is accurate or not - it really depends on the car we are talking about?

Here is probably the car that Fujimi used to do their LM:

Re: Fujimi F40 LM

Wow thank you alex. Those pictures will be very useful. But Im still having the same dilemma. Here is a pic of a completed Fujimi f40 LM. Notice that there is no scoop above the front emblem. Every example Ive seen of this car has that scoop, even the one you posted. So if I were to create this scoop. What would be the easiest way? Im thinking drilling some holes to create the shape with a pin vise and then cutting it out.

Now that I think about it the front air scoop on the hood doesn't look right either. There must be an F40 LM that looks like this. I don't see how Fujimi could the front wrong like that.

Like I said, they all a little different. Unless you are building a specific car, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
