98 Forester frt diff output seals

I am in need to replace the front drive axle output seals on the differential.I have looked in library repair manuals for info. They show how to get the half shafts off the diff output shaft, but do not show any info on seal replacement.Has anyone replaced their seals?Does anyone know where info is available to do this job?I do want to have an idea as to what I would be up against before tearing things appart. Thanks for the help.

You get the axle out, the seals come out with some prying tools just be careful not to scratch up the housing or damage the axle splines. The new ones tap back into the housing flush.
