97 GT No juice to Fuel Pump

I unplugged the pigtail in the rear of the vehicle where it comes through above the rear crossmember and i have no juice to any of the prongs. Checked the fuses under hood they are good and bought a new relay which didnt change anything. Anyone have this problem?

Re: 97 GT No juice to Fuel Pump

Are you testing it with the key on within the 3-5 second prime cycle? The PCM commands the pump off after the the prime cycle if the key is not in the start position and no crank signal is present.

Re: 97 GT No juice to Fuel Pump

you could remove the fuel pump relay and jump the two contacts that are switched by the relay, then go measure for voltage. Just make sure you jump the correct ones or you'll let them smoke out of your PCM.
