Question '01 Service Eng Light - Blown Air Pump Fuse

Twice now I have taken my 2001 Blazer (4.3L Vortec) to the dealer after the Service Engine Soon Light came on. Both times the dealer said it was the fuse for the Air Pump had blown. After the second time he siad he tried to make it blow again so he could track the problem, but no luck. Well, the light just came back on, and I am suspecting the same thing.

I checked every fuse it the fuse box under the hood, and not only was every fuse fine, but I can't find one labeled anything that would point me to Air Pump.

I was wondering 1) If anyone knows where this fuse is if it is remote so I can change it myself before I get it back to the dealer.... and 2) If anyone has insight as to why this keeps happening.

Thank you,
Chad

YOUR PROBLEM IS PROBABLY BEING CAUSED BY WATER GETTING IN THE A.I.R. PUMP CAUSING THE FUSE TO BLOW. YOU COULD REPLACE THE FUSE BUT WILL PROBABLY HAPPEN AGAIN. I BELIEVE THEIR IS A BULLETIN TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IT INVOLVES SEALING THE A.I.R. PUMP SEAMS AND RELOCATING THE AIR INTAKE FOR THE PUMP TO KEEP IT FROM SUCKING IN WATER. I BELIEVE THE FUSE FOR THE AIR PUMP IS SOMEWHERE AROUND THE BATTERY BUT NOT FOR SURE. HOPE THIS HELPS

It is actually not a bulletin yet but the info is available to the dealer. If you make the appointment refer them to PI00397, this should help them.
The fuse is next to the battery as was mentioned and it's really a pain to access.
Number 3 is the fuse box
