ok on my b16 i got everything outta the way to get to my head bolts, but when i try to loosen em to get em off, i turn the whole engine
i've tried a 12" breaker bar, and a 110ft/lb torque wrench to no avail, i had my moms hold the engine while i tried to turn the bolts, but nothing. anyone have any ideas of how i can get these off?

Dude...I am confused..is the engine out of the car? Is it like sliding around on the floor? Head bolts have ~48 lb/ft of torque...they shouldn't be that hard to come loose. I saw an engine stand at Sears yesterday for less than $100 - that might help or you need to find some way to wedge the engine and hold it still. When I first got my ZC I had it strapped to a palette...that was a LOT easier to work with as I was pulling the heavy parts off of it.

def. shouldn't be reverse threads... and they def shouldn't be that tight... be careful you don't snap them either... thats a bitch when that happens... and my advice is find a friend with an impact gun...

Make sure that you take the pressure off the head in the correct pattern.
