2000 bmw 328i repair estimate

hello i was wondering if anybody could help me out im looking for an estimate on a car a 2000 bmw 328i there is a leak in the power steering and the window is broken but im not sure if it is just off the track or it needs a new motor etc, if somebody could estimate and let me know how much this would cost to have this work done it would really be help ful thank you

If you don't want to learn to service your car yourself, plan on spending about $400 hundred or more for new parts on those two problems and add the services of a fellow who chose to learn to service the German cars and you are talking big bucks (for Joe Lunchbucket on what appears to be a fixed income). There are places that sell recycled (not refurbished) parts for your E46, I know cuz we just bought my son a power steering pump for $100, and an alternator for my E36 for about $175 out of California.
He's 22 and enjoying learning the ins and outs of bimmer repair. Hopes to make a paying hobby out of it as there are quite a few bmws showing up around the SW Kansas corner these days and most of those folks have to go to Colorado or Amarillo to find dealer service depts.
View this as an opportunity vs a hassle.
