RAL# for Gulf colours
Hello guys
I want to start a new project, Studio's 27 1996 F1 Mclaren GTR. I had some trouble to find the right match for the Gulf colours. It seems the blue have some metallic. Does anyone of you know the Ral# of the blue and orange? Hope to get a reply THX JPScelica |

Re: RAL# for Gulf colours
The orange is flourescent or dayglo orange, use whatever is available to you outside of Tamiya paints. You could try using finishers gulf blue and adding pearl powder to it.

Re: RAL# for Gulf colours
Not sure on the exact kit you have but the blue you mention is maybe this one at Zero paints (Hiroboy)
http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1770 and the orange..?? http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1328 If the orange is as already mentioned a florescent shade then they have that as well http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1476 Do you have a picture of the McLaren or the S27 kit number..???

Re: RAL# for Gulf colours
I think that for this model:
![]() Blue is used as a Zero-Paints: http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1770 but orange I don't know. I think, but it is not fluorescent color.

Re: RAL# for Gulf colours
After looking at the picture posted by beaver63 I would say the orange is just the regular Gulf orange, not a florescent orange.

Re: RAL# for Gulf colours
the orange is a "simple" orange. If you can't find a special Gulf orange go for the Jaegermeister-Orange.
