Rag joint eliminator?
Anyone put one on their steering system? are they worth it? im looking to get one cause my steering isnt as responsive as it should. I replaced the gearbox not too long ago. They look easy to install from this pic

Re: Rag joint eliminator?
It may be your joint needs replacing...the eliminator joint would cause you to feel all the road defects in the steering wheel...
I would also check your front end componets for wear , as well as the control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and links... |

Re: Rag joint eliminator?
That was my only concern with the eliminator, that it might be too touchy. i had the tie rod ends replaced, along with the sway bar bushings, everything else seemed to look good. if so ill prpbably go with a new rag joint rather then the eliminator

if oils/brake fluid dripped on this it is very possible that the material is no longer good... |
