Unhappy Car Jerks when accelerating

I have an 06' Buick Lucerne CXL with a V6 3.8L engine. Everytime i accelerate from a complete stop or turn, the car doesnt acceleraete when pushing the gas immediately. It gives a hard jerk when it finally does go too. This is something that just started happening. Also i just noticed a stream of red fluid under my car, so im assuming it may be a transmission fluid leak causing the issue. Looking for any assistance on issue.

Re: Car Jerks when accelerating

Sounds definitely like you have a leak, and if your fluid is low, the transmission will not work
properly or at all. Check the fluid level in the transmission..look in your manual for the procedure...it is not like checking the oil level. I would get the leak fix before adding fluid...as it will just leak out again.
