Help!!!!!
i got a 85 caprice and wen i drive it for a while then turn it off its like my engine is still going shakin the whole car i can just turn my key forward and it will just start runnin again

if i'm understanding your question correctly i think your car is dieseling. to fix this you have to try and turn down your idle speed a slight bit and then it should be good.

i kinda had the same problem earlier this week..sounds like your carb..from the way the mechanic explained it to me..my carb was running backwards..
it wouldnt crank for awhile..then it cranked..and then if i stopped at a stop light it would jerk a little and i would have to tap the gas pedal to keep it going and from stopping
